In 2015, Travis received his first training in stage combat with firearms in the production Seven: A Documentary Play. It was an enlightening experience, that only grew with time. Between the years of 2016 and 2019, Travis continued to learn unarmed, rapier, and broad sword. in the summer of 2019, Travis became certified in single sword and unarmed combat with the Society of American Fight Directors.
From 2019 through 2023, Travis has been a fight choreographer/captain for productions of Macbeth with Clementine Players, Keeley and Du with SI Shakespearean Co., and The Last Days of Judas Iscariot with Penultimate Theatre Company.
